Ashley Craig is amazing!! I just wanted to send a quick note thanking you for all you hard work making our day absolutely perfect. I received SO many rave reviews in regards to the food, staff and venue. Thank you SO much. Everything was beyond perfection.
Please pass on my thanks to Claudia, she's fantastic and ran such a tight ship and kept everything moving smoothly. She was so lovely too! Even when I was freaking out cause my shoes went missing! (Brother thought they were our sisters and took them!)
Also the guys out on the street were amazing all day and night, I never got their names but there were kind and very discreetly helped some of the locals keep moving on past our guests.
I can't even say enough. It truly was the day of our dreams.
From Ash and Phil Roberto
We had our wedding here 2 years ago and we had a great experience with the staff. The food was exceptional and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We placed all the kids upstairs so they can run around. We also put our photo booth up there too. We sat the adults down stairs on the main floor. Our wedding size was about 215 with 20 children from 1 year to 12 yrs old.
The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of accessibility. My wife's grandfather is frail and I think we pretty much carried him up the stairs to the main floor and was not able to fully see the ceremony (which was upstairs). The bathrooms were in the basement, so access was really hard for him. We worked out that anyone that had mobility problems may use the bridal suite bathroom and the rest can go to the basement.
All our guests felt the experience was very different in a good way. It was unique. Before our wedding, most weddings my family have attended has been in banquet halls. So it was a nice and unique experience for us and our guests.
With three distinct levels, the 1871 Berkeley Church provides an ideal venue for your specific event requirements.
The main floor and mezzanine provide an open, welcoming space for large presentations and gala events. The 1871 Circa Lounge provides more intimate spaces for breakout needs and VIP areas.
Let Berkeley Catering add a classy, local menu to you function and the experience is one your guests are sure to remember.
