I couldn't ask for a more perfect wedding day. The sun was shining, no clouds in the sky and the temperature was a perfect September day. Not bad for a Labour Day weekend wedding; we even got a full airshow salute! I also couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding setting. The Berkeley Field House was the perfect venue. The garden and ravine set such a relaxed and beautiful tone and the tree house was a hit with the children and adults alike. The reception hall itself was extremely classy and suffered through a lot of crazy dancing from our troupe. From the moment we went on our first tour of the venue until the big day, Berkeley Events was there every step of the way. Berkeley Events is a wonderful event organization. They were so transparent in their dealings with us and helped us get all the necessary details in order, from providing the required paperwork to what we needed for drinks! Kathy Lee was our wedding coordinator and she did a fabulous job helping us plan all the details from food to set up. We chose to have a buffet style dinner and it worked out great. Everyone raved about the food, the dessert and especially about the late-night poutine and sliders. There were so many compliments about how relaxed and refreshing our wedding was and The Berkeley Fieldhouse certainly added to the atmosphere we wanted to set with our wedding. I just wanted to take the time to thank you, Deborah, and Katie more formally for hosting our 360 Screenings event on Wednesday night. It's a pretty complicated concept, so I appreciate you jumping on board with such support and interest. Your space was perfect for what we were doing, and I can't tell you how much positive reception we received during the night, and continue to receive about how amazing your venue is. We have heard so much from all our guest that our wedding was like none other. The unique, urban downtown venue really allowed us to be creative with our ideas for the day, and the team helped execute everything to a tee! We wanted a wedding that showed our personality and also gave people an experience at a wedding unlike they had ever had before. We feel like as a team we all accomplished this goal.

The food was SPECTACULAR! Ryan is still talking about the yorkshire puddings, and the steak was to die for. And as for the poutine station late night... there are no words for that kind of awesomeness.

Thank you also for recommending some of your vendors, JP of Caja who dazzled with his creative and vibrant floral creations, and Ian Liwanag who kept the dance floor rockin all night long.

We could go on and on about our love of the Berkeley and how we feel like we couldn't have chosen a better location for us to have our wedding and start the story of our lives together. Thank you for making all our dreams a reality.
